Albert and Gloria have been dancing Balboa together since 2005, successfully trying to grow a Balboa scene in the Barcelona area and teaching in their local scene. They hold several European Balboa titles and have been teaching internationally since 2011.
Having developed a particular way to combine pure Bal and Bal Swing techniques, their dancing has become very expressive and musical. Coming both from different partner dancing backgrounds they have been dancing Swing separately since approximately 2000.
Natasha and Olivier are successful instructors, competitors and performers. They have won numerous contests and placed 3rd at the highest ranked Balboa competition in 2011, the American Classic Balboa Championships. More than competing they enjoy social dancing and sharing their passion with others. Natasha fills the most complicated step with grace and makes it look so easy. Olivier is an amazing leader and bewitches each lady with his French charm and esprit. Their creativity and musical synergies are matched.
Anders is a swing dance instructor and performer based in Stockholm, Sweden. He has studied dances such as ballet, contemporary and authentic jazz since the age of 10 and developed a passion for
body movements and teaching dance. At the age of 13 he fell in love with Lindy Hop and has since then been fortunate to teach and perform around Sweden and Europe. Today he teaches regularly at
Chicago Swing Dance Studio and travels around Sweden, spreading his passion for dancing to the Swedish youth.
Marie has been dancing almost as long as she has been walking, but she fell in love with Lindy Hop in 2006. Since then Marie has been fortunate to work and dance with the fantastic teachers of
the Cat's Corner Studio in Montreal and is now based in Stockholm where she teaches at the Chicago Swing Dance Studio. In her classes, she combines modern knowledge and authentic style with a
good measure of fun!
Taras and Vitalia are accorded world known recognition for their passion for Balboa and Lindy Hop as dancers, teachers, performers and chorographers. Combining musicality and interaction with a partner, technique and improvisation they are able to captivate dancers as well as the audience. As teachers they concentrate their attention on the dance technique at all levels and motivate dancers to improvise to the music creating great dynamics of the dance. More than 10 years they continue revealing the secrets of dance to the students and improving their own dancing and teaching skills. Nowadays Taras and Vitalia are professional dancers and instructors of Lindy Hop, Balboa, Jazz, Charleston and Blues. They are also experienced judges being invited to many international events and competitions as well as accomplished choreographers working with many dance projects like So You Think You Can Dance in Ukraine.
